Create a profile for my group / organisation
Setting up my group or organisation
To sell tickets, you will first need to create a profile for the group or organisation that will be hosting the events. You can only make a profile for an organisation if you are authorised by them to do so.
If you will be hosting events as an individual you will need to create a group profile for yourself and when prompted select “Individual”.
You can create a group by clicking the Add event button ( 
) found at the top right corner of any page. On mobile click the menu button ( 
) then click Add event.
If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to login ↗ or register↗ into your personal account.
If you already edit one or more groups: clicking “Create Event” will prompt you to pick a group for the event. To create a new group, click the New group option at the bottom of the menu.
Next you will be prompted to provide some basic details about the group you are representing (name, email address, and the type of group that it is). Then click Continue.
Depending on the group type you selected you may be invited to join some of our special interest groups (such as Illuminate Youth for Christian Youth groups). If you would like to join them click Request access otherwise click Skip for now (you can always request to join later).
If you intend to charge for tickets to the events you list you will need to link a link your Stripe account↗ with your group. This enables you to receive payment for your sales. Stripe accounts are free and if you do not already have one you can create one as part of the linking process. Click Link Stripe Account to begin the process.
If you are only going to be providing free tickets linking a Stripe account is not required (although you can link it later if you change your mind).
Your Group profile has now been setup and can now be edited↗ and you are ready to start adding events↗.
I want to edit a group that already exists
If your organisation already exists on tckt you don’t need to add another one instead you should get in contact with the person who is managing the profile.
If you are unsure of who this is contact help@tckt.uk with the link to the existing group profile and provide details about why you wish to be added as an editor.
